Their Challenge

R&M Manufacturing of Buffalo, MN met with Leighton Interactive in September 2017 to apply inbound marketing efforts to their existing website. The goal was to drive traffic to the website and utilize it as a sales tool. The R&M Manufacturing sales team wanted to focus on closing sales and less on prospecting and nurturing.

Unfortunately, R&M’s current website was limited in its abilities to push content, so before inbound efforts could begin, a website redesign was needed.

Our Solution

We dug into the details of R&M Manufacturing so we could truly understand the intricate metal fabrication process. We brainstormed with the client on the needs and wants of the website to best support the sales team and communicate with its prospects and customers.

We completed key term research to for SEO for the website, as well as the content. Next, we created wireframes for the R&M team to visualize the site before it’s designed and coded. After approval, content creation started. We dove in and created content that highlighted each of R&M Manufacturing’s services.

Next, we could finally get to the design with all the optimized information to guide the result. We opted for a clean design that really highlighted the multiple services that R&M offers. The client approved on the first proof - the site was then coded and launched.

Results are sure to come. With a new website design, Google needs time to recrawl and grant authority based on its SEO value. Now that the website is done, inbound efforts can begin including blog content creation, thought leadership development, and prospect offers.
